How to build your own web hosting server using Virtualmin, Ubuntu 18.04 and Vitualbox in 40 Minutes.

Today I will show you how to build an hosting server using Virtualmin, Ubuntu server 18.04 and VirtualBox.


Step by step instruction:

  1. Download and Install Vitualbox from the official site if you haven’t already.

  2. Then download Ubuntu server from the official ubuntu download page

  3. Now we are ready to create our first virtual machine for the Ubuntu 18.04 server in Virtualbox 6.0

  4. Once all is set up we can install Ubuntu server on the Virtual machine (remember to set up the network adapter to bridged). Once the installation is complete we can move to the final step.

  5. Install Virtualmin, the actual software that we need to build the hosting system.

    1. wget

    2. sudo /bin/sh
